Moments worth talking about

What is currently going on

Its that time of year where the tree's turn from their green to magnificent oranges, yellows and soft greens. Where you put away summer clothes only to get into warm fuzzy soft cozy pants, warm hot cider and soft fall moments.
I love the fall time its a time where you can still do outside if you want but love to be doors and watch the wind whip around outside. We have had a amazing summer with tons of memories and lots of new adventures.

Lets see what Chad is doing

For those of you who don't know which is not many. Chad is I think the next humanitarian for animals. He is closely following the mighty big foot prints of his hero's being Steve Erwin, Jeff Corwin. He just LOVES snakes. He just can understand him and vise versa. Not one fear at all in this little boy. He will hold anything that slithers.
At the Birthday party he was the first one to hold a Python was reluctant to let anyone else hold him. Then of course the Aligator, then he asked the great reptile man if he could hold the 11 foot banana snake that was just amazing.

The Reptile Man

This weekend we went to a Birthday Party. The Reptile Man was there. He brought with him. tortoise, soft shell turtle, monkey tale skink ( lizard ), iguana, Ga boon Viper, diamond back Rattlesnake, python, cobra, and a 11 foot banana snake.
He was of course full of facts. I only took pictures of the snakes go figure.

George the one eyed Pirate

Some may find this funny some might not.
I laughed so hard at George's face. It appears he is not at all amused with me.
Its almost as if to say...
ARGGGGGGG!
In the last picture of Frankie and George there is a sorta smile.
His eye is healing finally after 2weeks.
My ever so fun brother got him the eye patch. What a hoot!.

Last day of School

So here we are last day of school. LOOK OUT SUMMER HERE WE COME. ( mind you if we even get a summer).
They are both so excited to be much older and wiser ( as they say ).
Keith will be in the mighty ((((((((((( 6th )))))))))) grade.
Chad will be in the amazing ((((((((((( 3rd )))))))))) grade.
As Chad puts it he will be one of the big kids. He gets to move to the 2nd lunch and have 2nds if he wants it. Don't know about 6th grade but it should be a fun time.

Keith Graduation

So it was a nice beautiful day. The class of 2015 has graduated 5th grade. Its hard to imagine my little bundle of fire had made it to 6th grade many new and exciting things are coming his way. Many, many, many thanks to his teacher she never gave up not even one time. She made his show himself, made him grow, made him learn, she never ever ever backed down. She stood still during the storms of his life and was a true and honest anchor for him to hold on to. Also to his principal WOW what a amazing person. Can't thank him enough for the endless hours. Keith has grown to be someone we can be so proud of. There are times mind you that really tested our patience but in the end he is one amazing, fantastic, energizing, sympathetic to needs, understanding, full of life young man. He is really starting to grow up folks. Watch out for many wonderful things to come from him
WE ARE PROUD OF YOU BOO!!

Fishing gone wrong

It started off as a day great for fishing nice and cloudy not to cold or raining. We head off to the water. Got the boys all hooked up and in the water with their lines. George cast off. It was going to be a great fishing day!
Keith brings in his line, cast off again with new bait it gets tangled in the brush. George goes over to get it unsnagged. He tugs on it a bit and BAM the line comes free and George is moaning and holding his eye. He is stammering around I go check it out, his hands are over his eye. He takes his hand off and his eye is red But no hook in it. I turn away for a sec come back and his eye is bleeding. The weight that is on the fishing line hit him right in the eye dead center. Get him home after a bit with ice. It got worse. We ended up taking him to the ER. He has pretty much a bloodshot eye. He has blood in the Iris of his eye, a small scratch on the outside of the eye. A small laceration on the inside edge of he eye. Corina is fine NO Damage!. Thank GOD!
So George can no longer go fishing with out wearing safety goggles!
HAHA

A Day with Chad

Well today I spent the Day with Chad. His class went to the White River Auburn Museum.
They did such a good job with kids and interacting with them. We got to see a Old time School house, Old Auburn, A caboose, Native American Indians and there stuff, and a old log cabin where people got to live.
Then back to the school where the kids had a inhouse play called " I want to be a Butterfly".
About a baby cricket who thinks she is ugly ( per what a toad said ) In the end she found out she was quiet beautiful.
I did a few of them black and white. COOL

New Items to Blog

Hey everyone just wanted to let you know at the bottom of this blog I have added Videos from youtube. I have not figured out how to add my words to the videos. Maybe it will be in a blog, then you go look at the video, then I will let you know what video I am referring to. Please don't be offended when you watch them. If you don't like them just don't watch. If you do like them have a fun with it. As they put in the beginning screen of a movie. Some may like our opinion some won't. I will try to keep it mild but you all know that is not my style.
I love the humor in the one I put on there now. The first one is Chinese but the other three are pretty funny. Silly Tiger Monkey got your tail!

Steve

Well we did it again.
We now have a turtle in our house. Her Name is Steve. Well we heard its a girl and the name is defiantly Steve of course after the Late Steve Erwin. Of course again Steve is Chad's.
Did you know turtles are quiet boring>???
Good grief he does not do anything but burrow himself in the bottom of the cage. He is pretty cute when he sticks his head out.

Playing with the kids

We had a great day Sat. Some friends of ours had 10 baby goats. There were twins and triplets in the bunch they are just the cutest things. approx 4 weeks old, they crawled on us, nibbled on us, laid in our laps and went to sleep. Keith actually found a little on who just thought Keith was great his name is Pamalo all the babies were named after tropical fruit. It was such a wonderful day.
As you can tell there is no pics of George with the babies they kept sneezing they would come close to him so we didnt get to get any pictures
