Moments worth talking about

What is currently going on

Its that time of year where the tree's turn from their green to magnificent oranges, yellows and soft greens. Where you put away summer clothes only to get into warm fuzzy soft cozy pants, warm hot cider and soft fall moments.
I love the fall time its a time where you can still do outside if you want but love to be doors and watch the wind whip around outside. We have had a amazing summer with tons of memories and lots of new adventures.

Teddy Bear Run 09

So it was freezing cold outside. Does this stop the minor biker gang from joining in the fun. We headed out to meet in Auburn. Where 225 bikes and riders follow a journey that took us on a loop around Auburn where we ended up at Auburn Regional Medical Center. There was a end count of over 400 bears for kids. The hospital provided lunch always a good way to get people to join in the fun.
Of course the group of guys. The girls, and a few other pictures.
GOT TO LOVE THE CHOPPERS!!

We missed you Sharrie:(

Superbowl

Let me just say I am so very impressed with the Superbowl this year. For one the commercials are always funny. The 1/2 time show was also better than it has been in the past.
I have to say I am not a huge football fan but I do enjoy the Steelers.I love watching Big Ben just take over whether its leading or doing he just gets the job done Now before anyone you respond lets just say this is my opinion. We will leave it as that.
Yesterdays game had us on the edge of the seat. The Cardinals had their game plan even before they came in. I am very proud of them to say the least and I congratulate them as well. Their coach just really impressed me with his whole persona. The team handled themselves very well.
All in all it was a great game and good job to both teams.

Vampires in The Claw

Keith's arm.

What is Bentley doing now

Chad must have taken these pictures. We were all so impressed with our little boy he just curled up in his water bowl. Its a first for him. I heard rumors that if he does this he will shed. So wait I did no shedding did the snake do. The water is warmer than bath water since its right under the light. He stayed there for about 30 min or so. In one of the pics you can see his heart. ( my fav part about his coloring ).
The one where his neck is stretched out he just got done drinking water. He had 1/ of his little face down in the water inhaling I looked a little closer and he was slurping in water. Or breathing it in which ever is easier to understand. Then he just hovered over the water ditch. Again this is a new thing for us to see. I always wondered how snakes drink water now I guess I know.

more flooding

If you see in this box or the next one and the whole field is under water that is usually filled with cows.
Poor things are up at the barn just a wandering what is all that wet stuff and why wont it go away. But the geese are loving it.

The big flood

Well as some of you know Washington State is known for its rain and a few times a year we get more rain than we can drink, swim or what the land can hold. This year we got more than we could handle for a bit. The boys and I went out of the safety of the house to venture into the wet lands of our small town. The boys were pretty impressed at how much water was standing. I just thought it was very fascinating that yet again we got more than we could handle for the time being.
These pics are not in town its mostly out in the dairy lands and in the fields.
Approx fence height above ground is 4 feet so when you see a fence line or fence tie under water you can guess who much we got. Most of the drainage ditches were full and so the water ran over the road.
