What is currently going on

Its that time of year where the tree's turn from their green to magnificent oranges, yellows and soft greens. Where you put away summer clothes only to get into warm fuzzy soft cozy pants, warm hot cider and soft fall moments.
I love the fall time its a time where you can still do outside if you want but love to be doors and watch the wind whip around outside. We have had a amazing summer with tons of memories and lots of new adventures.

The last ride of the year.

Now most people think I am weird but just to prove that I truly am weird....
We did a ride for the Ashley house this year thru American Cycle in Buckley, Wa. What we awoke to was a overcast, windy, bone chilling cold sorta day. Not to stop us though. We gear up, get on many layers (George was very brave only jeans, long john shirt with a long sleeve shirt over it his leathers and he was good) I on the other hand.. Jeans, 3 layers of shirts, sweatshirt, my leathers, 2 pair of gloves, my Ninja hood. Ok I was ready to go. We Step out of the garage get ready to get on the bike and the last bit of Noah's ark hit us. Whoosh RAIN!!!. We ride in the rain now I have never done this before its quite a fun experience let me tell you. George had water pooling in his Glasses. (I was good I had on a full face helmet) The roads are beyond wet and slippery, its foggy, low light, visibility is poor due to the rain coming down. Pull into the cycle place just get off the bike looked out at the street and BAM! A biker had been hit by a car. After all is said and done her legs and hand hurt but she was mostly ok she was off to the ER. So now we are beyond soaked being out in the rain directing traffic and helping her out. Wow what a morning so far...
It turned out we (50) bikes pull out and head on a journey for the kids. It was a toy run/poker run. Good times as always! Made it to the house no more injuries and everyone was able to let their guard down and relax we had made it at last. It started out a very rough scary morning but ended up being a joyful experience. Got back to the house the bike is disgusting, dirty, road grime all over it But, smiles on our faces that we made a lot of kids happy this year for Christmas. As soon as we got in the garage the sky opened up. Thank you God!

The Christmas Parade

This year we rode with a group of Guys and Gals from The Biker Church. Very Very neat people to ride with. They all just pretty much came up to the small group that we are and introduced themselves it was just nice to ride with a fun crowd. There were 17 bikes. In between all the shops of downtown the noise at times was defining little kids were holding their ears, mothers were holding kids that were crying because of the noise. Dad's cheering us on as if to say " They are living the dream".

HA Ha now if you believe any of those lines I have property for sale in the desert. It was loud and it was fun. There were 80 entree's we were # 60.

So fun to ride!
Oh and had to have the Bagpipes in this posting.
If you are looking at my head you will see no hair that is because I went at a Ninja this year. "head stockings" are the best keeps you all nice and warm. It Covers everything but your eyes and you have a helmet to keep them warm.

Even More J 2 B

I did this blog backwards I think you have to scroll down to the last one of these post and read what its about. Sorry!

More J 2 B

Journey to Bethleham also known as J 2 B

Tonight we went into Auburn where at the Auburn Academy they do a Journey to Bethlehem. Its a live nativity scene. You start out with your "cousins" who take you on this amazing Journey to find the new born King. You meet the 3 wise men, you go past the lepers, scholars, Roman Guards, The market people,Casar Augustus, shepherds. You follow the angel in the sky to the star above where Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus are. Its the most amazing thing this time of year. They do a fantastic job.

Entering The Canary

Right inside the canary they have these very cute snowmen of course loving Snowmen we had to take pictures. Then we had to get the pictures of the scene set up for Santa.

Winter Events happen

This year we ( the boys and I ) decided that we would be very outgoing and step out on Black Friday. Not to bad I will have to admit. We headed off to Sumner for the annual Bridge lighting. When we arrived they had horse drawn carriage rides for free so of course this was in my price range so we waited in line for this fun adventure. Of course me being a girl I would like it all cute and cuddly but when you have two boys who just want to mimic the sounds of the horses hooves and wonder how full the bag is on the back end of the horse and giggle the whole time what is a mom to do but laugh.
